The scariest point in my life thus far was the moment I realized that I was going to have to feign selfishness. That every time I laugh with friends and say “YOU know how conceited I am!” I would need to put an extra effort into my voice to make it sound like I truly mean it. Because the most intimidating thing to other people is the chance that someone in the same room might TRULY understand them. Understand their feeling. See the flicker of hidden offence in their eyes. Truly FEEL for them what they feel for themselves.
Always be wary of who you let open up to you – because there WILL be resentment later. People as individuals don’t want to be remembered at their worst, nor look in the eyes anyone who had ever seen it.
And when you really understand somebody; they will do everything in their power to misunderstand you.

Oh man, time for an update methinks.
Alright, so since this blog is primarily to brainwash you guys into liking what I like reach out to my readers about things that make me who I am, I wanted to talk a little about FBTL and how different it is from it’s predecessor.
As I’m sure I’ve said a million times: MOTS WAS THE FLUFF. FBTL is not going to be so brainlessly upbeat. Which is sometimes hard for me to get in the mood for. I’m such a bubbly person, that writing about suck screwed up people can pose a challenge when I’m in a cotton candy mindset.
So this is partially to let you guys know what gets me in the mood to be so freaking depressing, and partially to get you guys to listen to this.
The song ‘Ballad of a Paralyzed Citizen’ by The Faint.
Everytime I hear it every sad, frustered, angry and anxiey ridden vibe in the universe seems to creep into my head and leave me in the perfect mindset for the angsty junk I feed to you all.
So if you need some inspiration for some angsty writing, artwork or even if you just want to hear a story that’ll give you a good cry, listen to it! Also, they’re one of my favourite bands, so check ‘em out!

Gah, FBTL is proving to be a perfect mixture of everything I needed to get out, and everything I never wanted to relive. I lost someone very, VERY close to me, to drugs when I was younger. An immediate family member, actually. And I guess this is my way of getting out all the feelings I had while I watched it happen. And my way of living everything I wish I had been gutsy enough to do.
So, if anyone was wondering how I know so much about addicts and their behavious/drugs in general. It’s not because I’m a junkie, I’m 100% against drugs. It’s just expierence and obsevation.
Anyway, chapter 3 is kinda depressing. Sorry, but I planned out the plot months ago, so I’m just rolling with it. This crap writes itself.

Oh man, I just got the new Britney Spears album (which I preordered like a month ago), I love it. YEAH! ^^
Which will mean less sleep, back breaking exercizing, and a lot of writing. That’s what happens when I get listening to energetic music. But that’s okay!

Ground Control to Major Tom…

I’m so excited to put up the new story, I know you guys are all itching for it. And if I didn’t promise myself that I would wait until December 1st, you’d have it already. Haha!
But really, MOTS was like… an introduction to everything that I had really planned in the beginning, You guys will be getting the real story now. I’ve been writing the sequel for some time now, and it’s mostly composed of the first few chapters in rough, a lot of half-chapters and a huge plot line that I’m afrad will drown me and everyone else.
So, anyway. I’m excited. The finishing touches are all painted in tiny strokes on the first chapter. It’ll be up on Monday. woot! All your disappointments about the ending of MOTS will hopefully be cured when you see what I am planning.
To anyone who reads this blog, check out the story ‘Whiskey and Shadows’ by crayonZOMBIE. It’s a super original story. Really, it’s awesome. I love the characters that she has created, and I think she needs more readers. So… yeah.
Anyway, that’s all I have to say for today. See you guys on Monday!

In other news…
The sequel to MOTS will be out on December 1st. It is also named after a season, just to keep with the trend. But that’s all I’m releasing as of yet. Hope to see you all there.

Kay, here’s the scedule:
In the next little while, I’ll be doing a few oneshots to correspond with MOTS, so keep an eye out for additions to Gave Up On Shallow Incisions.
After a few of those I’ll start posting the sequel to MOTS (excitement!)
So give it a week or two-it will be less if I get impatient, which is known to happen-before the sequel is out. I hope you guys will enjoy it, and I’m looking forward to seeing all you guys come back, and maybe a few new readers, too!

The new FF.net, anyone?
I’ve been around for years and years, and I’ve seen it change… but this is the biggest change they’ve made since we started being able to use profile pictures.
It’s new, and therefore takes some getting used to. It’s all underlined. Seriously… did they have to make EVERYTHING underlined? *RAGE* Whatever, though.
Thoughts?
Also, chapter 35 will be up within 24 hours. I promise. Writer’s Block is a bitch, and there are things going on right now, that I’m still wrapping my head around.
